All market participants are affected by the harmonisation of payment transactions with the international ISO 20022 standard – in particular institutions, pension and compensation funds as well as administrations and public corporations (ÖrK). The SGV was already informed in advance by its financial institutions about the upcoming changes to the new payment traffic. This prompted it to have its existing processes and IT system landscape reviewed by a neutral and independent business consultancy and to identify the affected areas.
