General Terms and Conditions – Training
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses offered by Bosshard & Partner Unternehmensberatung AG (‘Bosshard & Partner’).
Valid from July 2016.
Payment of training fees*
After you have registered for a training session, you will receive a confirmation from us, which also serves as a payment slip. The payment date stated therein is binding. You are obligated to pay the training fee once you have registered. Failure to pay the training fee does not constitute cancellation of your registration.
Organisation of training sessions
For organisational reasons, we reserve the right to postpone or combine classes, change the location or shorten training sessions and refund a percentage of the training fee. If an instructor is unavailable, Bosshard & Partner may change instructor or engage a substitute.
Delivery of training
In order to be able to conduct our training under optimal conditions, we specify a minimum and a maximum number of participants for each course. Places will be allocated in order of registration (subject to timely payment). If the number of participants is insufficient, the training will generally not go ahead and the training fee will be waived or refunded.
If a class is under-subscribed, we may in individual cases go ahead with the training subject to the agreement of the training participants, but increase the training fee accordingly or, where appropriate, reduce the number of lessons.
Cancellation of registration*
Cancelling registration for a training course involves administrative effort and expense. Depending on when the registration is cancelled, we may waive the training fee in whole or in part. Bosshard & Partner requires you to cancel your registration in writing. The date of the postmark is deemed to be the date of receipt of your letter. The waiver or refund of your training fee is governed by the following:
- Up to 45 calendar days before the start of training: CHF 100.00 processing fee
- 44 to 22 calendar days before the start of training: 10% of the training fee, up to a maximum of CHF 500.00
- 21 to 15 calendar days before the start of training: 30% of the training fee
- 14 to 8 calendar days before the start of training: 50% of the training fee
- 7 calendar days to 1 day before the start of training: 80% of the training fee
- After the training session has started: No waiver or refund of training fees.
Bosshard & Partner reserves the right to charge for third-party claims for accommodation, meals, travel, etc.
Unattended lessons
Unattended lessons cannot be made up and will not be refunded.
Confirmation of training
At your request and after attendance of at least 80% of the training sessions, we will be happy to issue you with confirmation of training. However, this is contingent in both cases on the training having taken place not more than one year previously. All rights to specify different rules for certificate and diploma courses are expressly reserved.
Insurance
For all training courses organised by Bosshard & Partner, we exclude all liability for loss or damage that occurs. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance cover. Use of the Bosshard & Partner facilities is at your own risk. Bosshard & Partner cannot be held liable for theft or loss of items.
Video and audio recordings
Video or audio recordings may not be made in any Bosshard & Partner premises without the express consent of Bosshard & Partner and the training participants.
Programme and price changes
We reserve the right to make changes to the programme and prices and to make changes to the General Terms and Conditions.
Place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to all legal relationships with Bosshard & Partner. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Bosshard & Partner.
