Junior Screening Analyst (A)

Tasks

• Justify and document respective assessment 
• Review of Alerts, check with our client database and other tools, assess if these are true matches 
• Collaborate with partners across 1^st and 2^nd line of defense when additional support is needed 
• Analyze screening alerts to determine if they represent true matches to individuals
• Verify if the Bank is already aware of any associated negativity
• Assess the significance of any identified negativity in relation to the Bank’s interests
• Determine whether the negativity is relevant and warrants further action
• Conduct sample checks of hits deemed false matches to evaluate the rationale for their discounting
• Ensure the discounting reasons are clear and defensible to external parties
• Work closely with other team members to ensure consistent assessments and decision-making
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous minimal experience in Compliance/RiskManagement/ KYC-profiling/screening preferred
• Relationship-Manger supporting functions are also feasible
• Ability to interpret an extensive amount and variety of data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Business fluency (written and spoken) in English. German, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic and Russian or any other language are a plus
