Application Operations Manager (A)

Tasks

• Operating Global Data Platform components (VM Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka) and applications (Apache stack, Collibra, Dataiku and similar) 
• Support and implementation for Collibra API / Services 
• System administration for Collibra (Userbase, Access) 
• Collibra Edge server configuration and maintenance 
• Managing documentation (solution design, security concept, blueprints) 
• Participate as a team player in the CI/CD pipeline integration 
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation 
• Incident management and root cause analysis 
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

• At least 5 years of experience in cluster environment operations (Kubernetes, Distributed Storage like S3/HDFS) 
• Certifications related to DevOps on prem / cloud and Unix/Linux administration
• Extensive experience in managing Systems/Applications as admin in Unix/Linux 
• Experience in operating and working with complex data environment (from data integration to data consumption and catalogue (MDM)) 
• VM setup and scaling, K8S scaling, managing Docker with Harbor, pushing Images through CI/CD together with development team
• Advanced scripting (Bash/Python)
• Experience with APIs/Web services 
• Financial industry a plus 
• Good knowledge in German, Fluency in English
