For our client, a global bank in Zurich, we are seeking a technically oriented Business Analyst to support the integration of its Securities Finance Trading platform with a new Core Banking system.

Tasks

  • Define and validate interface requirements, support solution design and testing, and ensure seamless connectivity between systems
  • Analyse and document end-to-end interface requirements between the Securities Finance Trading platform and the new Core Banking system
  • Specify data mappings, transformation rules, and message formats to enable automated trade and cash flow processing
  • Work closely with developers and solution architects to ensure accurate and timely implementation of system interfaces
  • Produce high-quality functional documentation, including business requirements, data field definitions, and user stories
  • Support planning and execution of testing activities (SIT/UAT), including test case preparation, execution tracking, and defect triage
  • Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical walkthroughs to maintain alignment with programme objectives
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate assumptions, clarify requirements, and manage dependencies impacting interface delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in system integration or banking technology projects
  • Strong understanding of trading platforms and post-trade workflows, especially in securities finance (e.g., lending, borrowing, and repo)
  • Practical experience in data mapping, message design, and working with APIs or message queues
  • Ability to produce clear, well-structured documentation for both technical and business audiences
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Prior involvement in core banking implementations or platform transitions within capital markets is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in complex system landscapes with both batch and real-time interfaces
  • Fluency in English and German
