Tasks
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large data sets from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external data providers
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes to support business intelligence and analytics
- Create and maintain documentation (data dictionaries) for analyzed datasets
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers, to integrate data insights into business decisions
- Develop and maintain documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and results
- Master or Bachelor’s degBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and market data feeds (e.g., stocks, options, futures, forex)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power Bl)
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as R, Python
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Experience working with large data sets using SOL/ Azure Data Lake/Spark/Databricks, etc., to derive actionable insights is highly desirable
- Fluent English skills
