- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and backend services for real-time decisioning, reporting, and data collection
- Define and model data requirements
- Manage and transform data across various systems
- Write high-quality, secure, and well-tested code
- Build and maintain software to enhance data governance and security
- Develop processes to ensure data security and data quality
- Completed education or degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience integrating data processing and workflow management tools into pipeline design
- Strong background in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and business intelligence development
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar programming languages.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and issue resolution
- Experience with cloud data technologies (preferably Azure), Spark Streaming, Delta Tables, and Databricks
- Familiarity with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Experience with various data storage systems (RDBMS, data lakes, in-memory caches, document databases)
- Knowledge of data modeling and microservices platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with event-driven streaming systems (Kafka, Event Hub, Event Grid)
- Familiarity with DBT, Data Vault (a plus), and BI tools.
- 1+ years of software development experience in JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Ability to provide technical leadership to other developers.
- Language skills: Fluent in English (mandatory), German (optional), both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
