Senior Cloud Security Engineer (A)

Tasks

• Ensure sDefine and deliver the expansion of the Security Baseline Compliance (SBC) governance framework from on?prem systems to hybrid environments, including Azure.
• Guide IT Service Owners through the adoption of Azure SBC controls, ensuring alignment with the established governance model and documenting only what materially differs in Azure (differential principle).
• Integrate Azure SBC extensions into ServiceNow workflows, exception handling processes, and evidence management without disrupting current on?prem processes.
• Establish and coordinate a scalable self?service onboarding approach, reducing onboarding time and cost for all in?scope technologies.
• Act as senior advisor to service, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure consistent application of SBC governance across the organisation.
• Ensure high?quality audit?ready evidence and maintain compliance documentation for regulatory requirements.
• Continuously analyse and optimise SBC processes and identify improvement opportunities across hybrid platforms.
• Serve as governance and coordination lead; this is not an engineering or architecture role, but requires strong technical understanding

• Minimum 7 years of experience in security governance or baseline compliance.
• Strong knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and comparable industry standards.
• Experience implementing hybrid (on?prem and cloud) baseline compliance mechanisms.
• Solid understanding of Azure security concepts and controls.
• Proven ability to guide IT Service Owners, architects, and engineers in enterprise environments.
• Experience working with governance and workflow platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CCSP, AZ?500, SC?100, or equivalent.
• Ability to create structured, audit?ready documentation and maintain robust evidence trails.
• Experience in regulated or financial environments is an advantage
• German business fluent or native level (C1/C2).
• English business fluent (C1/C2).
