DevOps Engineer (A)

Tasks

• Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to the internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services.
• Drive the replatforming and migration of applications to cloud infrastructure in alignment with enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure by design principles.
• Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab in accordance with platform standards and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enable and educate them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud native development.
• Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption.

• Software engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in application development using Java, .NET, Python, or similar technologies.
• Practical experience building, maintaining, and migrating CI/CD pipelines, including migrations from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern software delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with artifact management and deployment tooling such as Nexus and Helm.
• Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments where external dependencies are consumed via internal registries.
• Experience working in agile environments such as SAFe and collaborating across multiple teams.
• Cloud certifications (e.g. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are an advantage.
